Head Coach Mark Jones explained the reasoning of recruiting the 24 year old

"When RGC have brought anyone in, it has to be for the benefit of the team. When Tiaan and Jacob were here they helped develop the younger players,  Danny Cross and Sam Rogers are just 2 who have benefited.  We have Robin and Bryn who are only 20, so with Beau adding some experience that will be a huge help to them. We wouldn't bring anyone in if they were to be blocking the pathway  of a North Wales player in the same position, these types of players are targeted to fill holes in our depth chart whilst we bring through the younger ones”

Beau is looking forward to the challenge

"I was always interested in playing in Wales given my heritage,  unfortunately my grandmother passed away when I was young and we lost ties a little bit with the Welsh side of the family, so for me to have the opportunity to get across to Wales and reconnect is important and means a lot to me."
