RGC play Bargoed on Saturday, Stadiwm Zip World, 2.30pm.
It is a chance for RGC to get back to winning ways after 3 defeats in a row. Bargoed head north after in impressive win against Aberavon, in a game where they dominated around the scrum. Over the past 4 games they have picked up 4 penalty tries, so RGC know what they will be up against.
Earlier in the week Tom Hughes talked about focusing on the next game, as they couldn't change past results and fellow centre Rhys Williams knows the collective performance is key "It has been a good week in training, and we are all looking forward to Saturday. Bargoed will be tough, they had that win against Aberavon last week so they will be looking to continue that form. We know that Bargoed will come with a strong set piece, and they will target us from the off. When you look at the past few games we haven’t put in a full 80 minute performance, and the opposition have punished us. As a group we are all focused on making sure we hit our top performance, as our supporters deserve to see us play well. They have been brilliant home and away over the past few weeks and we want to give them plenty to cheer about."
