RGC Women U18s Teams are set for the Regional Age Grade competition tomorrow
at Ystrad Mynach
RGC Du v Cardiff 3.30
RGC Piws v Scarlets 5.30
RGC Player Development Centre Lead Lucy Brown is looking forward to seeing both sides compete on a regional level
“As a group we're excited to get the RAG games started on Sunday, with two squads this year, there's a lot of opportunity for players to really show what they can do which has been evident since we came together in November. We've got players who were involved last year, who will be able to bring that experience to both squads, with the new players showing some exciting stuff which we can't wait to see.
It's a fresh coaching group as well, with additions and involvement from last year, which has given a new outlook on the programme. With two squads the challenge will be to ensure the players get the best opportunities. “
Daffyd Williams will be lead coach of RGC Du with Iolo Jones & Ollie Coles in support with Stevie Donougher as S&C, and Lucy Brown lead coach for RGC Piws as well as programme lead, with Ethan Fackerll, Gareth Parry, & Pip Lantos as S&C with Harri Ford kicking specialist for both squads. The squads have a great medical team led by Stacey Lawson with Team manager Jules, who have really excelled in getting the players ready for the first weekend.
