RGC have teamed up with an international artist based in the heart of Gwynedd

This season, RGC have teamed up with an international artist based in the heart of Gwynedd to help bring the RGC brand and North Wales rugby values to life.

Mr Phormula is a pioneering beat-boxer and live looping artist. With a career as diverse as the Welsh landscape within which he is rooted, Mr Phormula’s inspired performances and vocal compositions have gained him international recognition as a leading beatboxer, rapper and producer.

Sion Jones, General Manager for North Wales Development Region and RGC said “this year is a significantly important year for RGC and North Wales, we have to continue pushing on and showing that things are very different in North Wales. Unlike other parts of Wales, North Wales has a real buzz about it and there is a real passion, energy and appetite for rugby in the region. Success on the field is hugely important for us, but what we do off the field is just as important.”

 “It’s very encouraging to see the energy being invested into the RGC Supporters Club, on top of this we need to reach out and engage with as many new audiences and groups as possible. Ed (Mr. Phorumla) is an innovative artist who performs all over the world, his work is unique especially in his bilingual work. We will be using Mr. Phormula to bring the brand to life on match days as well as on our advertising campaigns across Heart Radio.”

 Mr. Phormula has written and produced a bilingual RGC anthem, radio advert and walk on track which will now be played at all home fixtures starting this Saturday when RGC take on Ebbw Vale at Stadiwm Zip World, Parc Eirias.
