Moa Moves Up North

Ben Moa has linked up with RGC from Dragons RFC, continuing the relationship with the URC side.

The Wales U20s No. 8 joins on a permit, following on from Brodie Coghlan who headed north last season.

Head Coach Ceri Jones “It was nice to hear Dragons say some positive things on RGC and our work with Brodie, after he made his debut last weekend.  Ben comes up now, and he will be exposed to more game time in the Premiership plus more contact training and the Dragons see big benefits from that.

First of we want to develop talent in North Wales, but if in conjunction we can also develop players from the wider area.”

RGC face Pontypridd on Saturday at Stadiwm CSM. 2.30pm, and the Gogs are currently on a 6-game winning run. Jones knows that his side will need to again reach those high levels of performance

“Pontypridd’s form is better than their league position shows, with Ben Burnell back plus the attacking threat of Niko Matawalu we know we need to be at the top of our game. It has shown in the past if we don't reach our levels of performance we don't get anything from a game, so the focus is on what we do and doing it well.”
