Rhys Williams believes the team are moving in the right direction performance-wise, after the loss at Merthyr.
Speaking after the game the centre said “It was a massive improvement after the game at Cardiff. We all knew that we needed to up our game from the start, and you could see the intent from kick-off. We ran them close and put ourselves in some good positions but a couple of errors cost us. Also if you add in the disruption from injuries – Dion injured pre-game and then Afon and Efan coming off in the 1st half meant we had to swap a few players around the backline.
That said, we have made massive leaps, but we need to again build on this performance and look forward to two home games starting with Newport next Saturday. 2.30pm."
