Tom Cottle signs for Cardiff Rugby. The 18-year-old 2nd row who has been named on the Wales 20s team for tonight’s game, joins the Blue & Blacks in the summer where he will combine rugby and studying at Cardiff Met.

“Everyone at RGC would like to congratulate Tom on signing his contract with Cardiff Rugby from next season.
Tom has been standout throughout his time in the RGC pathway, for much of which he has trained and played above his age group in order to stretch his learning. His attitude towards training, learning the game, along with his physical potential make him an exciting player for the future.
The purpose of the RGC Performance Pathway is to develop players for the professional and international game in Wales. So to see another North Wales player progressing into the professional game is a credit to all the work our Academy coaches and staff are doing.
Along with Tom and his family, we explored all opportunities open to him across the four professional regions. Given his want to combine his rugby development with his ongoing education, along with the support and opportunities on the table, Tom has settled on signing with Cardiff Rugby, where we know he will be in good hands.”
