U16s Team News v Scarlets West

U16s Team News v Scarlets West 1 Mar 2019

RGC 16s play their final match in this years Regional Age Grade Championship when they face their Scarlets West counterparts on the 4G pitch at Parc Eirias this Sunday. ( 2.00pm KO ) Having lost in heart-breaking fashion last Sunday against the Ospreys West 16s for whom a last minute penalty try was awarded, the young Gogs will be looking to finish their RAG campaign on a positive note. In spite of that narrow loss, Head Coach Gav Hodgkinson says that the mood in the camp this week amongst both players and coaches alike has been positive,

' Losing is never a good feeling and it becomes an even worse one when it happens in the way that it did on Sunday but we have all put it behind us and are very much looking forward to Sundays game against what I have no doubt will be a strong Scarlets West side. After Sundays game we have a few weeks off before we come back together to prepare for games against the Scotland Under 16s sides over the Easter weekend and I know that the boys are very much looking to finishing this second tranche of RAG fixtures on a positive note.'
