Nelsons Column: Saul Previews Quins

Nelsons Column: Saul Previews Quins 14 Feb 2020

RGC face Quins tomorrow. 12 NOON KO

RGC Coach Saul Nelson is looking forwards to getting back into matchday after the break over the past few weeks.

"Our last game against Llanelli before the Six Nations break was a great performance and result to start a really important time of the year for the players and coaches.  The break in games allows us to regroup, recover from any knocks and allows players to have some time away to switch off in order for them to come back in and train hard on our strength and conditioning with Gaz whilst developing our core and position specific skills without having to prep for match days.

Looking ahead to Quins at home tomorrow (12 NOON KO), we  very excited about being back at Stadiwm Zip World and cannot wait to hear our faithful fans again. It seems like its been a lot longer than three weeks.

We have to respect where Quins find themselves in the league and cannot hide away from the fact that Saturday will be a huge test.  Having said that, it's a pretty exciting test to look forward to and one I know the boys will be chomping at the bit to get on with come kick off.

RGC will need to be right up there in terms of concentration to get the performance needed to beat such a strong side, they have a very organised pack and several dangerous backs that we need to be aware of but so does every team we play in the Welsh Premiership, there really are no easy games."
