Easter Visit

Former England International Nick Easter paid a visit to Eirias this week to spend some time at training, as the team prepares for Bridgend Ravens at home on Saturday. 5.30pm
Head Coach Ceri Jones welcomed Nick and his input to the sessions “It was fantastic to welcome my old team mate and friend Nick Easter up to North Wales this week, a man who has had a very successful career on and off the field having played 281 times for Harlequins and representing England on 58 occasions “
“He went on to coach at Harlequins, Newcastle and Sharks (SA) as well as Worcester Warriors. It has been an extremely difficult time for all involved and we wish them all the best for a swift return.“
“On the plus side having Nick with us on Monday & Tuesday was fantastic he presented to our coaching group and coached Tackle Tech, Kick chase and Defensive shape over the two days and both coaches and players enjoyed and learned. Our thanks go to Nick and his family and I’m looking forward to seeing the fruits of his labour on Saturday”

Nick was impressed by the training facilities at Eirias “It was great to be able to work with some of Wales’ young talent down at RGC. My old Quins teammate Ceri Jones invited me down to assist for a few days as they prepare for their match against Bridgend.  It is an impressive set up that brings a lovely balance catering for aspiring young players and part-time squad members”
