RGC 18s will be looking to turn the performance last week into a win this week versus Dragons RFC on Sunday (Stadiwm CSM 4G, 2.30pm)
Head Coach Saul Nelson took a range of positives from the game -
“Last Sunday was a fantastic day for RGC 18s, and the boys had a fantastic pres-season with a long wait before actual games.
It was a special moment to share with the boys and parents, as they presented the matchday shirts. We wanted to show how we are aware of the support they give the players, and that it is hugely appreciated by RGC.
From driving them to training, feeding them, and making sure they are in the correct kit, it’s a massive commitment and we thank them.
We are proud of all the lads in the program.
On the game itself, we created opportunities against Cardiff Rugby but didn’t cash them in when we had the chance.
It’s part and parcel of the development with an 18s group, we have a deeper understanding after playing and we have trained well this week, the boys are excited and we can look forward to getting back out on Sunday against the Dragons”
