U17s Head to Worcester

U17s Head to Worcester 18 Mar 2022

RGC U17s are back in action on Sunday as they head across the border to play Worcester Warriors on Sunday.

Head Coach Saul Nelson is again looking forward to seeing how the team competes "It has been an interesting couple of weeks for this group of young men from North Wales. They all have put a great amount of effort into training and have learnt a lot from the performance against Wasps, especially in that second half where we put together large periods of good rugby and scored a couple of nice tries.

Following on from that game, I am expecting to see the progression come through in Sunday's fixture against Worcester Warriors at Sixways Stadium.   It's fantastic for the team to play at such a great stadium giving them great exposure as players to continue their development.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Afon Bagshaw, Sam Williams, Max Himsbury, Will Morecombe, Kyle Scott and Faye Harvey for their hard work supporting these young men on their journey to date.  Also, a huge thank you to the parents, rugby clubs and schools for your continued support. Like myself and the coaches, you can be extremely proud of the boys.  Diolch yn fawr"
