U16s Preview: Blues North

U16s Preview: Blues North 21 Feb 2020

"RGC Under 16s will be hoping to make it third time lucky this Sunday when they travel to Sardis Road, Pontypridd to play Cardiff Blues North. Their last 2 games have had to be postponed due to the effects of storms Ciara & Daniel and they will be crossing their fingers that the weather lets up in order to allow Sunday's game to take place.

Both teams are still in with a chance of winning this season's Regional Age-Grade Championship, RGC lie 2nd whilst the Blues North are in 4th, and as such RGC Head Coach Gav Hodgkinson is expecting that the team will face quite probably their toughest test thus far,

' Year on Year the Blues North have are always one of the best sides in the RAG Competition, and this season is no different. We lost to them at the beginning of the year at the Super Series event in Ystrad Mynach and are thus well aware of how strong they are. The last couple of weeks have been frustrating for players and coaches alike with games being called off due to the weather but the squad have trained well this week and are very much looking forward to Sunday's game.'

For any GOGs still in South Wales after Saturday's Welsh 6 Nations Game looking to come along and support the RGC side, KO is 2.30 pm."
