U16's head to Cardiff

8 Feb 2019

With last weeks game against Scarlets West having been postponed until the beginning of March, RGC Under 16s play their first game of 2019 this Sunday when they travel to Sardis Road, Pontypridd to play their Cardiff Blues North counterparts. ( 2.30 KO ) The Blues have thus far proved to be one of the stronger teams in this season's Regional Age Grade Competition and Sunday's game is sure to be a big test for the young Gogs, however for Head Coach Gav Hodgkinson it is test that they are very much looking forward to,

' Everyone in the squad, both players and coaches alike, were disappointed that last weeks game against the Scarlets West team had to be postponed due to the weather, but we have put that behind us and have been fully focused this week on preparing for Sundays game against the Blues North. I cant fault the attitude shown by the boys not only this week but throughout the entire season and I know I speak on behalf of all the Coaches when I say that I am looking forward to seeing what we have been working on in training, put into practice during a competitive game.
