U16 Preview and Squad For Dragons 14 Sep 2018

U16s Squad to Face Dragons

After having travelled 4 times down to South Wales in the last month, RGC Under 16s play their first home game in this season Regional Age Grade Championship when they face their Dragons North counterparts at Stadiwm ZipWorld on Sunday. ( KO 2.30pm ). The young Gogs will be looking to gain a 1st win of the season, having previously competed well against the Scarlets East, lost narrowly to the Dragons South before last weekend being comprehensively beaten by the Blues South. However in spite of that loss Head Coach, Gav Hodgkinson, said spirits remained high prior to this weekends game,

' Whilst we were all obviously disappointed by the score last Sunday we did not feel that it reflected our performance from which we were able to draw a number of positives and that positivity has been reflected by the attitude shown in training by the players this week. Sundays squad features a number of players who having picked up injuries in training earlier in the season are making their first appearances for us and we are all looking forward to seeing how they get on. This is our final game of the first block and whilst we have the utmost respect for the Dragons North team we are very much hoping that it will end with a win'
