RGC Look to Keep Run Going at Bridgend

RGC Look to Keep Run Going at Bridgend 10 Mar 2022

After a run of 3 home games that have resulted in 3 wins, RGC now focus on keeping that run going away to Bridgend on Saturday.  The hosts currently sit bottom of the Indigo Group Premiership and have yet to pick up a win in 5 games.

RGC hooker Rhodri King says the side need to make sure performance levels are high from the onset on Saturday

“We have a chance to make it 4 wins in a row and with only 4 games left it's about getting as many points on the board, and then see where we end up.  A few teams are playing catch up in terms of games but for us it is simple…win the next game and not look at the if, buts and maybes.

In the last couple of games we have made it hard work for ourselves with our 1st half performances, so we know we need to make improvements from that kickoff.

This season league wise we have won one game on the road, which was Llanelli at the start of the year, so we have Bridgend and Newport away to improve on our travelling records before the season ends.”

The last time RGC visited the Brewery Field was 7th December 2019, and the Gogs came away with a 24-5 victory (tries from Dion Jones, Billy McBryde and Dan Owen)

Head to Head in the past 5 games RGC have won 4 and Bridgend 1.
