RGC look to keep winning run on track

RGC look to keep winning run on track 3 Mar 2022

RGC are looking make it a hattrick of home wins when they take on Ebbw Vale at Eirias on Saturday (2.30pm)
The visitors Ebbw Vale will be looking to improve on their last visit when RGC won 17-13 in a tight game. It was another RGC victory on the road when the came away with a 1 point victory (21-22) back in November.
With only 5 game remaining, it is about taking chances and Head Coach Ceri Jones is looking for his side to be clinical again when the chances arrive “With the structure of the league this season you don’t have as many games, so every game is a massive opportunity as the season isn’t as much as a slog.  With that in mind, you need to take the chances to get the wins to be in the mix.”

Danny Cross knows they need to keep improving if they are to keep getting results “We have won 2 games on the bounce, but we know as a group we need to keep hitting those high workrates.
We have seen in some games when those levels drop then it becomes a difficult 80 minutes.   Games against Ebbw Vale are always tight and wins have not come our way that many times, so again we expect a tough game and it’s up to us to deliver.

Head 2 Head

Last 6 games between the sides.

RGC – 2 win
Ebbw Vale – 4 wins
