No Time To Dwell: Quins up Next

No Time To Dwell: Quins up Next 26 Jan 2022

RGC are back on the road Saturday when they face league leaders Carmarthen Quins.

After a couple of disappointing results, Afon Bagshaw knows that the performance levels will be key

"As a team we need to look at taking our chances, as last week we work our way into good areas but didn't take advantage.  At this level, you need to be clinical, and if you aren't then it will cost you.  We also gave Pontypridd some scores that were down to us as well, and that was the case against Cardiff as well.

It's another tough one on Saturday, especially as it is at  Carmarthen - so we need to raise the performance levels if we are to get anything from the game.  The good thing at the moment is that games are coming around quickly, so you can't dwell on what has happened ....and we need to move on and be better."

Looking at the last 5 games between both sides, the results have swung in Quin's favour -  2 wins for Carmarthen at home, and 3 draws at Eirias.

Currently, in the league, Carmarthen Quins are unbeaten after 3 games and sit top with 10 points and RGC will be looking to close the gap which is currently 6 points.
