Danny Cross – Hong Kong Bound

Danny Cross – Hong Kong Bound 23 Aug 2023

RGC wish Danny Cross all the best, as he moves to Hong Kong to play for Kowloon Rugby Club. Having worn the shirt for 143 games, Danny leaves with plenty of memories -

“Just a quick message to say thank you to everyone who has helped me over the past 10 seasons in the RGC first team and before that within the Academy.   From Chris Horsman and Josh Leach giving me that opportunity to play at Blackwood away when I was 17,  all the way through to Ceri last season I also need to mention everyone who has played a part in my progress, from the backroom and medical staff - I just want to say a big thank you!

To the former and current players, you are what makes RGC special and such a hard place to leave.  I take away so many memories- from bus trips (and there have been plenty of them) to last-minute wins. It has been a special place to be a part of and I hope to come back and play with you one day!
Also, a big shout out to the best supporters in Wales - the RGC supporters club who are consistently the 16th man for RGC both at home and also in South Wales when we really need you.

Finally, a big thank you to my family and friends who have supported me through the harder times with injuries and celebrated all the achievements along the way!
This is not a final goodbye and hopefully one day I’ll be able to wear the RGC shirt once again in the near future…”

Lots of love DC♥️
