Last month everyone in the RGC family was saddened to learn of the passing away of Bill Parry who had been the Assistant Manager to the Senior Team during its early days in Division 1 East and the Championship. Bill had been struck down with Sarcoma which he fought with his customary good-humour right up until the time of his death. Although Sarcoma is one of the less common forms of Cancer, 15 people are diagnosed with it every day in the UK. As a mark of respect to Bill, we are holding a Bucket Collection at the Merthyr game this Friday for Sarcoma UK, the chosen charity of his family.
